Its finally up! The new bottom pane held up fine! i tiled the section of floor that the tank would sit on because were tiling our whole house in the next month and i wanted to do it before the tank went up so it took a couple days to set which is what took so long. But its lookin great. My only concern is that the tank is not perfectly level, i put polystyerene between the tank and stand, as well as between the bottom of the stand and tile but there is still a slight slope. would it be worth it to drain and try to balance it out? anyway, here are some pics i took. the black fascia has yet to be installed.

Looks great Ikon, some fantastic work there. Judging from that side shot, I'd say you're level enough.

that tank looks gorgeous....
how long did it take you to get it all together and plubed in?

thanks everyone!

big ian...if youve been following my previous threads, ive been working on the whole thing for about a week and a half. i built the tank, the stand, plumbed everything, test fileld it and it worked, got all of the sand and liverock in then the bottom pane cracked from all of the weight. replaced the bottom pane with thicker glass, replumbed, and got it up successfully yesterday.

Looks great :good: love the scaping in the tank Much the effect I'm after in my new tank. did you milliput or drill the rock?
