10G Tank Chiclid Stocking

Hey I am thinking of setting up a chiclid tank but I have never dealt with this breed before. Any ideas on what would fish would make this a decent setup for the 10G tank I have? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Oh and sorry if I am missing an initial thread on this, I haven't been on this site in a long time and am not used to the new layout yet.

The only Cichlids I see that will fit a 10 gallon are as follows:
 
African:
Kribs
NEolamprologus sp
 
South American:
Rams
Apistos

10G is way to small for Kribs.

And most rams in my opinion , you could probebly get a way with a pair of dicrossus or a group of shell swellers

Rams would be okay or appistos, but only a pair with nothing else in the tank. You may also investigate certain types of shell swelling cichlids as you could have a small colony of 5-7 depending on the type.
