I was considering using my 10 gallon as a shrimp only tank, but I'm reconsidering. Im just gonna throw a few shrimp in there. Maybe 5 cherries, 10 ghosts. So, I want some fish to put in it also. I really wanna remove most of my fake plants and leave it open, so I can see everything that's going on. There will be a few plants and a cave on the sides, but middle open.

What kind of fish will:
1.) Not eat shrimp
2.) Like open water
3.) Work with gravel

Will pygmy cories bother the shrimp? I would like a few of them if possible. Ill consider changing over to sand if needed for these.

Thanks

My pygmies live with shrimp and are fine with them, they are smaller than them anyway!! You don't necessarily need sand because pygmies don't act like regular cories, they are more midwater swimmers and sit on the leaves of the plants midwater. You could have those for sure. Or a nice shoal of galaxy rasboras, or some other micro rasboras maybe.
