Does this seem like a good stock for a 10 gallon planted tank with a Penguin 150 filter?

- 5 Marbled Hatchets
- 1 Honey Gourami
- 5 Celestial Pearl Danios
- 5 Venezualan Pygmy Cories
- 7 Amano Shrimp
- 3-5 Cherry Shrimp

I'll be doing close to 50% water changes every week because it's a planted tank and my fertilizing schedule calls for it. I believe its a bit overstocked but with the water changes I think I should be alright.

It's a pretty heavy stocking for a 10 gallon and will require a very good filter to keep up with it.
From what I know of celestial pearl danios, they work better in bigger shoals, but I've not kept them. And the marbles might want a little more footprint, but again I'm not expert.

I'd leave out the hatchets and add 3 more danios (for a total of 8) and then it's a pretty nice set up for a tank.
That said, if you're willing to put in the work and someone can confirm the marbles and danios are happy at those numebrs, i don't see why not.

What filter are you going for?

Thats very overstocked. even with the weekly water changed and excess filter. I would leave out the hatches, and also the Gourami may struggle. In my experiences these are very particular little things and tend to struggle, even with the best kept tanks.

The hatchets were kind of a last minute thought I wanted some top dwellers but I don't have to.. Would pygmy hatchets work I just saw them theyre smaller if not I'll just leave them out altogether

If you really want a surface dweller, consider clown/rockets killies. 2 m, 4 f, would be good. Huge ones are about an inch.

No, no danios. :) they need a very large tank to swim around in. Even for a school of five.
