10 Gallon Cichlids

I was hoping to get some ideas for stocking for my 10 gallon in terms of cichlids. I know my options are very limited, but I'm having a hard time thinking of any ideas. They don't have to be new world cichlid, I'm open to Africans too.

You might want to try a breeding pair of Ram, either Gold or German blue. In a planted 10, should live pretty happily, with a few shoaling tank mates for company. Where about in Alberta are you? I'm in Calgary.


Some apistogramma may be okay also. Shell dwellers should be fine too.

Rams or Dwarf Cockatoos would be my choice. Neither type takes much room. The cockatoos are very colorful, as are the rams.
