i want to put together a breeding group of cherry shrimp in my ten gal and would like some idea of other fish who are going to be compatible with adult and baby shrimp. i had a betta and he ate them so he has his own tank and i would love a shrimp tank i spent like £24 on 9 and only have 3 left !

Neocaridina cherries are quite small so their offspring are going to be quite a bit smaller. If the tiny shrimplets are small enough to fit in a fish's mouth they will be eaten, unless they are totally vegetarian fish.
Both corydoras and rasboras are omnivores so they would probably find tiny shrimplets a lovely snack.
Sorry to be negative, but I'd hate you to lose your shrimps thro putting them in with omnivores.
Some fish may be primarily vegetarian, but when push comes to shove will eat anything to survive.
If you want to breed the shrimp they should ideally be in a shrimp only tank - I wouldn't even put them in with larger Caridina shrimp for the same reasons as above.
