1 Fry

hey last time my female had her fry when i was away and there was only one left surviving and this time the same female gave birth last night when i was asleep and the same thing happened only one fry left so i put the little fry in the net with the other one but the bigger one keeps picking on it so i have divided the net into 2 smaller bits so that the bigger fry doesnt kill the new one. have i done every thing i can or could have done?

so i have 2 fry now

u could try gettin a breeding trap, i kno my mom got one for her guppies a while ago, u put them in when u think they gonna have their babies, then they dont get eaten by all the other fish... just a thought

i would have put her in the net but the other fry was in there. i think i will get a trap too tho thx


and i forgot to say that the bigger fry keeps going threw gaps between the net and the bit of plastic and keeps attacking the little fry.

Bigger fries do eat/kill smaller fries. I have to pretty much catch all fries that are over 1cm or so continuously otherwise, I won't see much new born ones...
