how small a tank could i put 1 fry in?

as for you question i would say 2.5g would be fine for it aslong as heated and oxygenated, then when he gets big enough not to be eaten put him back wiv the otheres

lol ahh i see, yer you probly lost a few then mate unlucky but yer he must be strong dude, why dont you just laeve him in main tank? if he survived this far he probly survive more!

would it be safer for the fry to be in a small tank with 5 guppies and no plants or a larger tank with lots of different fish big and small and some plants.

which tank would it have more chance of surviving in???

Technically you could use a 5 gallon for quite a while (months and months).
