i have a (atleast) 10 gallon tank right now i need to put 1 guppie in it do i need to seed the filter first

a small handful of gravel from another tank should contain enough benificial bacteria to keep him going and will colonize the filter.

just squeeze some of your filter spone on the new filter and it should be ok.

Of the fin isnt badly nipped, its quite normal for male guppies to nip.

no its really badly nipped hes a fantail and he curently looks like a no tail

hes of to a tank for clean water and some salt for treatment when i put him back the tiger barbs will be moved into a new tank

i think they did he was like that when i came in one night so i ha dto put him in a breeder net
