My dad thought me and my mum had picked up an aquarium today - he had no clue about "fishless cycling" and has just come home with a betta. I have nothing to put him in until tomorrow and the LFS is closed. Somebody help.

A big glass bowl.
Do you have any declorrinator for the water.
You would be better off posting this thread in the betta section of the forum.

I would boil the water and let it cool down if you have no declorinator.
You will have to match the water to the temp of the water in the bag.

incase u didnt repost, just go with a bowl, hopefully dechlorinated water, but if not you might be alright still, and try to get the temp close to the water in the bag. Betta are hardy fish, and can live in extremely small bowls.

Any food safe container that holds water will do, like a milk jug with the top cut off. If you don't have dechlorinator, distilled water or purified water should work, also bottle water.
