Thank you, it's tap water and the pH stays around 6.0 - 6.6. I'm not sure how to check GH though. As for the ammonia nitrite and nitrate they're all 0 as of this morning.

Nerites are definitely really cool! I've got one in with my other Betta, so I may end up with another. I've always wanted to try out shrimp because of how cool they are, but yeah he'd probably nip.. Anyway I never really tried him with any fish, he just nips at plants whenever they first go in...

Hi everyone. I'll be upgrading my Betta into a 10 gallon soon enough, and I'm curious as to what I can do for tank mates. My boy is very curious and will probably nip at anything he can. So perhaps mystery snails or something like that, wouldn't be the best thing.

Hi everyone, this is my perfect cube 6 gallon Betta tank. It's far from finished though. I've had the tank set up for a month and some weeks or so now, it's super cool to see everything grow in the tank from nothing. So I bought the tank nearing the end of October and had it for about 3 weeks...
