Thanks for the quick response.
That was for the tank water. I will need to test what you have mentioned.
My drop checker is probably about 4 years old. I'll replace the solution and will report back with any results.
I brought my neon to his new home yesterday. The transition went really well and the new owner said he was excited to join the school of cardinals. So happy to hear that!
Next step is to change the chemistry of this snail and shrimp tank. I'll buy a test kit this week.
That's a pretty good deal! I don't have RCS anymore. I had a hitchiker in one of my plants and he ate all of the RCS. That was one hungry killifish! The good news at the time was he ate all of my pest pond snails too!
I would be careful with RCS. They breed like crazy. I started out with one male and two female in a 6 g. My tank got infested with them and had to get rid of a lot. In my opinion I would get 3 or 4 ghost shrimp.
Hey everyone. I think I may have found a new home for my lonely neon tetra, Zip. The owner has a 65g aquascaped tank, communal fish only with a 1yr old grouping of about 30 cardinal (neon) tetras, corys, rainbow fish and roseline sharks. Will my neon be okay with a school of cardinals in this tank?
