    Poorly Fighter

Sorry for the delay in update, he's now been moved into a 20l tank running a air driven sponge filter, he's been having salt baths and has responded well. Need to find some shrimp now as a clean up crew.

Hi all Hope someone can help. I bought a beautiful fighter with lovely finnage about a week ago and he seems happy enough, eating and exploring all the tank, I noticed today when I came home that his fins look glued together and he seems to have what I can only describe as a snail trail across...

True Sae - Pair It Up Or Leave It Alone?

I have a false SAE, when I was researching them (true, false & flying fox) most info I found said that as youngsters they like company but as they mature they become territorial. The tetras I would increase their no. as they are schoolers.

    Transporting Fish / Oxygen Tablets

Has anyone used the oxygen tablets with any success? My dilemma is I'm on holiday about 4 1/2 hrs away from home, I've seen a golden nugget plec in a fish shop but they don't have pure oxygen for transport. They have offered a poly box and suggested oxygen tabs for the bag? The box I agree...

    Thoughts On Plec Stocking

The tank has external filtration plus a power head for water movement, air pump running two air stones, other tank mates are likely to be various small danios ie leopard and zebra, harlequin rasbora, and a rescued golden wonder killi ( looking for some females for him). Would the peckoltia not...

    Moss Wall

Thanks for the reply, I have seen some pictures where the heater is placed on the end wall rather than the back, I have a power head that I'm going to use purely for moving water around so I think I shall position this near the heater and see how I get on while the tank is cycling up, I have two...
