This is my long tank thank you for being welcoming people as someone who had tanks at a far younger age and are getting back into trying to love my fish again.
Again me n the wife are having a debate. She wants to keep 2 betas in a 20 gallon hexagon tank when I feel if we're gonna keep 2 beta one should be in our long tank the other in our hexagon. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated
Sadly none of the fish moved from my bigger tank have made it. I tried to explain to her that the water was nowhere near ready so 5 glofish tetras a danio who I had for years n a couple goldfish have passed. RIP sweeney my lil danio
My 20 gallon hexagon is not doing so well at the moment. Killed my survivor sweeney was his name. A little glofish danio who's been with me over 2 years now ?
I also thought it be important to keep some of the already available good bacteria etc. This is a filtered tank I'm kinda missing your point. Again we've only recently been keeping fishes and my experience differs from hers. 100% water changes doesn't jive with what I was taught.
Well her goldfish have surprisingly done well with her 90/10 split n when we moved em to the new tank (which she thought was safe because google said 24 hours is enough) they're dying as well. The goldfish were probably 35 cents a piece it's not all about money with me I'm in the business of...
