Also 6 gallons isn’t enough water for any fish to live a long and happy life in, my betta lives in an 18 gallon tank with only neo caridina shrimp as tank mates and is very happy. Consider getting at least a 12 gallon tank.
Also tank cycling can take up to 3 months, the absence of ammonia isnt a guarantee that the tank is cycled, and the complete absence of nitrites and nitrates seems to indicate that the tank isn’t cycled yet.
if you’re changing the water that frequently in those proportions you could be further...
