Thankyou, well yes I'm feeding her twice a day so when she gives birth hopefully she's too full up to eat them! The 3 fry I have now are doing well in their breeder tank!

My platy has been in labour for 40 hours now and only produced 3 fry, she is still squared off and has the gravid spot, any idea why it's taking so long??

I now have 3 baby fry but she's still squared off, been about 36 hours in labour now! Surely not right ?

Yeh I don't have another tank as yet, only the breeding trap so I'll have to keep the fry in there for a while, I'll try get a small tank ASAP, but if I get a new filter would it be okay to put it straight into the new tank? I will take water from my tank that is set up now and put it in the new...

She's giving birth as we speak, 1 fry so far, how long does it last far on average?

Thankyou, I've also got 2 other females that look pregnant but not too sure how far gone as I've only had them for a week as well, I'll upload a picture tomorrow
