Quick update was doing 50% daily water changes. Got some anti bac medication from my lfs. The eye and gill looked like there were getting better but he wasnt eating. Unfortunately I lost him I buried him in the flower pot this morning

Okay so what is the hole on its gill just behind the eye ? I havnt got any meds will go to lfs tomorrow and pick some up

So yesterday I woke up came downstairs and went to feed my fishy friends. I then noticed one of my Angel's had a small pinprick hole on the right gill. The eye was a little swollen but not much. Now today I have woke up and gone straight to check my angel and it's got much worse. Any one know...

Okay thank you for your advice I will start doing 75% water changes and gravel vac weekly is it okay to leave cleaning the filter to every other week or should that be weekly too

Thank you any idea as to what has caused this as it only seems to be affecting the one fish. Is it a water quality issue I do a 25% water change weekly one weekend gravel vac and next weekend clean filter media and sponges. I alternate filter and gravel vac as i was informed it's best not to do...

I have just noticed today my albino Cory's eyes are bulging out and his face looks a little swollen is there anything I can do to help him I've just tested my water its 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 10 nitrate

It's not hard to remove but it doesn't wipe off easy a little scrub with a toothbrush gets it off but it comes off like powder not in sheets
