    Mollies And Guppies

Honestly i would just go with the guppies, but try to stay away from having males and females in that size tank unless you are going to get a pygmy breed like endlers.  I have endlers in my 10gal tank that i breed right now and i have about 30 right now, but lucky for me i am able to sell about...

10 Gallon Endler & Shrimp Tank

Nice! I have a 10gal endler tank as well, but i am using it to breed them with and so far i have about 20 to 30 of them swimming around, but i am at least able to get rid of about 5 to 7 a week by selling them to my LFS.

Yeah mine took about 2 monthes to cycle using the guide, but towards the end i realized that you cannot overdose with bacteria.  Soon after i added alot more and it cycled much quicker.

    Fish Identification

Yeah that's the only problem with swords, platys, molly's is that they can look very much alike at times :D.  Maybe my brother got a receipt that will tell him and if not then i guess he will have a mystery fish for now.

Yeah i didnt even think about sex when he asked me but yeah i would agree it is a female.  I had a couple my self and was able to breed them, but i gave up with mollies and moved to endlers.

    Fish Identification

Hey my brother just got this fish and he was wondering what kind of fish this was because he couldn't remember what the people at the LFS had said it was.  He asked me and i said that it looked like a molly.  What do you guys think?

    Pygmy Cory Just Laying There.

Do not be worried about it.  Pygmy corys are not schooling fish but rather shoaling fish.  This just means that they will swim together but they will also go off on their own or even in small little groups.  My corys do this quite often.  They will swim together for a while and then slowly split...
