I feed my fish 2 times a day. Generally a veggie snack in the morning and something with fish meal/shrimp meal in the evening. I try to take out what isn't eaten as well.

All my fish are dead. I don't want to add any new fish right now obviously. Now that the tank is empty fish wise, how long will my bio filter survive without fish? Do I need to replace the bio filter and start over? If not, should I do a 100% water change, bleach all my decorations and clean...

So all that's left are my 3 cory cats and I'm not even sure how they are doing really, they look fine but I don't know. I've been treating my aquarium with Kordon's Ich Away for 3 days, done 3 water changes, cleaned all my decorations and still lost the fish.

Mollies are doing great now!! My tank sits next to my computer, so what do I see when I turn around? The mollies playing next to the Cory cats! It seems they were just shy and have now finally started swimming around and playing. The male is following the cory's back and forth across the tank...

Are these fish always so boring? The mollies I got yesterday do nothing but hover by the heater.

I've got a spare heater that I can put inside a 5 gallon bucket and also a 2 gallon tank and heater that' compatible with that tank as well. For my 29 gallon I have a 150 watt heater. Plenty of back ups if needed. Luckily, there's a Petsmart only 5 minutes from the house though. I did lose my...

I got my Cory's and Betta from a previous owner that bred both and he always put aquarium salt in his tanks and the Cory's do just fine, lively little boogers that are about a year old. Thanks for the insight. I love the Mollies.

25% Water changes every Saturday/Sunday and water testing every Wed. works for me.

PH isn't your biggest issue, most fish can tolerate low or high ph. Ammonia is your worst nightmare. Get the ammonia test kit ASAP.

Hi Assaye, 1 male and 1 female. I gave the male away after a week and kept the female with the Cory cats. I plan on adding a couple mollies this weekend.
