Well he didn’t make it through the night, he swam a little in the main tank , but completely settled in the qt. maybe it was because he wasn’t being chased around anymore. Any further tips as to help prevent this later?

Lol the orang one is a toy the blue one is beside it!

Oh lol , yeah the orange one is , but the blue cichlid beside iit is kinda hard to notice. I added the plastic fishy to hopefully make the cichlid feel better
