I'm actually swapping 2 blockheads and 2 fire mouths for another blue acara.

150 gal but going to upgrade in two years. I really want one with a sump and of course bigger :-)

I do, but I lift and clean weekly. The fish love going in an out of it as a get away.

I think convicts are a great choice they are great to watch and hardy enough to stand up to most fish if needed. I have a blue Acara which is a fantastic tank mate. Dollars are great unless you have a planted aquarium.

Recently aquired 2 peach blossom convict cichlids. Anyone heard of these before?

Had mine a year or so. He eats cichlid pellets and blood worm. And loves live food. A great fish and full of character. Enjoy.

Would a oscar,Jack dempsy and some geo's work in a 150 gal tank. Maybe a rope fish and a plec. Your ideas would be appreciated. I'm aware that the first two can be aggressive. But is there enough room to give them space.

Same. Some times I don't see mine for days except for feeds and then it's like it owns the tank. Been like it for for a year. When ever I'm moving rocks or cleaning he comes up and wraps and rubs up against my fingers etc. Great fish.

I'm so inspired right now. Your tank looks awesome. Think I'll get another tank for Christmas.
