I have a community aquarium and I am just wondering will my chocolate catfish eat the tetras that go in, I am curious as I have another tank I can move him to.

As I just use water treatmenr when changing would you suggest getting a hma or just doing the water changes by bucket ?

Im just posting to ask the benefits of a hma filter, also I am a bit dubious as the water would come out of the tap at a temp different to the tank so wouldnt this be harmful running directly to the tank through a hma filter ?

One more question, would glafoam be a good filter media ?

Ye I was thinking that my fluval 206 is much faster as ive maintained it whilst ive had it with regular cleaning, pity its not big enough.

Has anyone ever used a superfish external filter ? I bought a used tank that came with one, it has 750 lph but the flow coming from the output just doesnt seem as much as it should be.

I am starting a discus set up with a pair of red ciripeau discus I think they are called. What plants should I buy and also what tankmates whould I get if any. The tank is a 40 gallon

All the wiring has been cut, I can see through the holes where the caps are supposed to be he has snipped the wires to the nub, so I will have to cut just buy everything new. Could you possibly link me all the things I need on ebay? Thanks all your help is appreciated.

i was downloading the pics off my phone, all the wires have been cut so no live wires are exposed

Ive figured what he has done, the previous owner has cut all the wires even the wire which the plug is attached and he has used a separate light starter unit and just tied the waterproof light ends the the original unit. See the pictures attached. Any help is much appreciated

thanks for your reply, i will post a pic of the lights atm, its crazy  the waterproof tube socket is what it has now, but it only has one bulb, does this mean the previous owner has cut out the wiring for the second bulb?

Hello,  ive got a second have a juwel vision 180 and the light unit only has one bulb and there is no caps for the bulbs, so the prvious owner has done a diy repair. how would i rectify this, like what ballast to buy, caps etc?
