I got a green cory yesterday, but he we feeling lonely being the only three incher so today I bought two siblings from the same pet store. I noticed that the siblings were darker green while the single cory was lighter green.
I'm theorizing that cories have the ability to lighten or darken to...

Tigers might start showing more aggressive behavior once they get bigger. For now it's all schooling type fish in the tank, and everyone is happy.

My guppy and swordtail fry will attack anything that could be food, even if it won't fit in their mouth. I once tried to see what they would do to some frozen brine shrimp. They started tearing it apart viciously.
So, I have a tank with play sand substrate. The mystery snail leaving behind slimy darker clumps of sand and the bottom is now covered with it.
Sometimes when the snail is up on the side of the tank I see it expel sand.
I put in some cories and they seem to love "processing" the slimy...
It's that time again, the other pregnant swordtail of mine is getting close. What were initially what looked like orange caviar has now developed dark eyes today. So when do I put her into the breeder?

it's funny but I can see more eyes than the photo indicates.
I think he was already probably sick/infected since I picked him up at the pet store a few days ago. The other two Cories that I bought are doing fine, but I'm keeping a close eye on them.
One of my Cories got sick and wasn't moving much and wasn't able to keep himself/herself upright. So he/she was moved to the hospital tank.
At first he/she wasn't moving much which gave me a rare opportunity to take a picture of a fish that was actually sitting still.
