ya i would also like to lower my ph. From info ive gotten says tropical fish like a ph of 7.0 and mine is always around 7.6. I bought some phDown solution but i dont use it because im not sure if it will mix with all the other additives in the water i use for water changes.

Hey, I also have alot of flakes that fall to the gravel and i hope that they feed the snails when they slide around at night. whenever i put food in it goes all over the place from the water currents. i clean up some of it and getting it all is just not realistic. I hope cleaning some is helpful...

Do you ever worry that the snails wont get food. I drop algae wafers for them and sometimes they pass right by them.

Does anyone do their WC in smaller amounts? Such as 5% once a week instead of 20% monthly. I believe it may be better to change out smaller percentages of water in the WC because all of the water parameters recommend small changes to stats like pH and salinity. If this is the case then changing...

At the fish store i saw snails crawling out of the aquarium, they were so many that they had little space between each other. I have two nerites and they will occasionally sleep together and usualy rest seperately.

maybe a backboard will help them feel like they are not exposed all the time. Definitely fish like to hide and have privacy at times heh.
