my friends tank is a 3ft tank containing guppys, a silver shark, some gouramis and one turtle. for decoration there is 1 large piece of drift wood at one end for basking and 2 other small pieces submerged in the tank. there isnt many plants about 5 and all are plastic. as for filteration etc...
is it safe to keep turtles and tropical fish togeather ? as one of my friends has a small turtle which he keeps in his tropical fish tank with all his fish and it has lived in there with no hastle for 3 years. I went to my local fish store and they said the turtles would eat the fish. any ideas ?
has anyone ever saved a fish from white spot. iv had 2 major aquariums and no matter how long the fish are in the tank eventually they always die of white spot. iv tried every antidote out there and they never work. any ideas ?

when i goto my local pet shop when his fish have white spot he puts them in a tank that is green cause its got so mutch white spot solution in it. is it safe to use this much ?
i have done a fishless cycle and alls gone well but an oily substance is all over the surface of the water. any ideas what it is and if it will do ne harm ?
well i spent £50 on the tank and stand second hand and then £0 on the rocks as i found them £10 on the sand about £35/45 on plants and £6 on the wood and also £60 for a external power filter. I hand made some other gadgets such as my co2 generator and diffuser. diy saves money. anyway thanx for...
