What about a shrimp tank? My kids LOVED looking for the shrimp in our tank after we put them in. We initially thought they'd all been eaten when we first put them in as I was silly and didn't do my research before buying, so the excitement was warranted when we saw a couple of shrimp after...

I’ve found I have at least 3 fry mollies in my tank (I could see the female molly was looking pretty large). Any care advice for the little ones? Food suggestions, etc? Different water change cycles/etc? apparently I also have baby shrimp… anything I should think about with them?

Throw a couple of assassin snails in there. I had a bit of a snail problem, and stuck ~8 assassin snails in my tank. Now there are just empty shells around :) I think the assassin snails are taking each other out now, but I'm fine with that unless there are eggs/baby snails that I haven't seen...

I had to get another tank set up over the weekend after one of my fish started being poorly. As a side note, he's a bit bloated, seems to be tilted over to one side slightly (although I'm not sure if he's able to see his reflection in the bottom of the quarantine tank and thats why he's tilted)...

I actually buried a bag full of lava rock in the aquarium, behind teh bunker entrance to raise up the level of the soil. I was initially annoyed by this suggestion, as the soil collapsed and now the top of the bag is on show, but luckily hidden away behind the plants (on the left of the tank)...

I'm also considering when I'm ready to release, squeeze the top of the net closed, and release them down in amongst the plants, so they dont have to make a frantic dash for cover. I'd love to set up another tank, but my "spare parts" are in use by a friend! I wish I'd got them back off him...

Hi all, I got over-excited when seeing shrimp for sale online, and bought a selection. I (very stupidly) assumed that they'd be fine to put in the tank with my mollies, penguin tetras, golden barbs, platy, and siamese flying fox (there's also some oto's in there too, but I've read they are good...

The great thing about this is, that you can just keep adding stuff to it over time... I didn't cover the bottom of the tank in a lego panel, I just put one that was about 20cm x 40cm. What I really should have done was cover the entire bottom of the tank with one so no matter where I wanted to...

Its better in real life, as its not fixed to anything, so both the ship and the glider) move with the flow of the water coming from the pump. You can see two lines underneath the ship, and if you look REALLY closely, you can see them under the ewok glider too... I stole my dads ultra thin clear...

A final pic (we finally got round to building the last few Lego sets), unless I decide to add more plants. You can’t quite see it properly, but there’s an Ewok on a hang glider floating over by the filter box on the right… The ship is looking filthy now, but it was a NIGHTMARE to get set up in...
