Thanks miss wiggle I have sent you a PM, but will reply here too. I must admit I could not believe he died really last night, but am feeling better today, it is sad putting the tank away, but i will get back to it, shame to waste my newfound knowledge, felt a bit better when I picked my cat up...

Just got back from my hols yesterday to find my goldfish dead, some of you might have been following my thread in the past, everything in the tank was fine, filter working, no ammonia, ph ok, I have been away 2 weeks, my son just a week , he changed the water before he came out, he has done it...

Hi, just tested stats tonight, and have got ammonia back, guess because goldie has been pooping in it all day, so think we might have to meet and get some filter media from your tank, thought I could have avoided this but seems the filter just is not catching up fast enough, anyway will do one...

Lets hope the filter is back to normal now, just tested water now, no ammonia at all, do you think I should get my neighbour to feed every couple of days whilst I am away, I think in view of the water this would be better in case we have another blip, if goldie still has these periods of resting...

Good morning, just tested ammonia, and much better than yesterday, very very slight green tinge, in fact difficult to tell if it was slightly green, where as yesterday definatly green, anyway just to be on the safe side I have changed 9 litres of water, goldie looking fine, eating well and...

Yep, have had that reccomended before, not keen on this interpet stuff now, bit weak and messed up filter. Goldie much happier today though, swimming around much more,but might have to do a water change tonight, will filter catch up eventually, surley not all good bacteria is dead, got no...
