Just an update...(Nov.1st 09)

....I have trouble selling them at 80p. (1.5'' size) - might have to go lower or give away(!)

I am happy enough with them and in no way do I think they are the best in the world................ I suppose not everybody has seen all the Discus around; (Everbody's opinion will differ, but I like the following selection :drool: ..................)

Not unless you put a plant-lead weight into it, or the end of a fork(?).......My plec's, Clown loaches and Cory catfish come to the surface to eat it, if it fails to stay in the substrate. - (I think you can move this to another Topic Section, if you want it under 'Loaches' or 'General'??)

Thanks; ....I feed them mainly with Tetra Prima (2-3 times per day) along with the treat of a few blocks of Frozen Brineshrimp/ Daphnia/ Beefheart/ Bloodworm every 3 days or so..........I used to feed with a German-made Specialist Discus Granual, but they all prefer the Prima(!) > I water...

Beware of the Plec with Discus - have heard instances of them sucking the protective coating from the Discus body at night......

Just an update, as I added some more Sand and a few plants......

I also have some Red Finned Male Guppies.......

Mine eat Cucumber often, as do the Swordtails, Sharks, Barbs, Angelfish, Various other Cichlids, Catfish ..........also try Peas, Zuccini /Corgette and Lettuce. + You can get 'screwcumber' from e-bay which is Cucumber designed to stay on the bottom, or try fixing it partly under a bit of Rock /...
