Like A Rope Fish But Shorter?

Ive had them a good few months and the crabs are doing fine, same as the bettas, they dont seem to mind each other at all, all in all the tank is very friendly, plenty of hiding spaces and I haven't lost a fish since I started it. Appreciate the comments though. Also the bichir is for my second...

Like A Rope Fish But Shorter?

I got a new fish, its just like a rope fish or a reed fish but its about half the size and has orange tips to its dorsal and tail fins. Its front pectoral fins are also slightly larger. Any ideas?

    Tankmates For Guppies

I f you look at my signature VVVV underneath this, thats the list of fish I have with my guppies and the tank is coming along fine. No deaths, no fin nips and no midnight snacks. I've had it running for a good few months now and it appears to be a very peaceful community. I've heard that...

    Want Some New Fish!

I recently had a school of 9 Calistas Tetra, and to be honest with you they we're complete ####s! I moved them around, tried them in three different tanks and everytime they'd attack the other inhabitants, and when they couldn't do that they attacked each other! Viscious little buggers. Anyway...

    New Fish

Anglefish can grow very large. It all depends on whether you want a single medium sized fish, a pair of smaller fish or even a small school of tiny fish! If you can tell me what your after I can probably recommend something! :)

How Many Tanks Do You Have?

I have 2 x 180l in use, 1 120l that is not, and 1 60l that my housemate is borrowing at the moment. I knida wish I kept the 60l set up for myself as a breeding tank. I also have a hexagon 40l tank but I have shoved it away in a cupboard somewhere!

    Knifefish! I Love Knifefish!

I know that they are gonna get bigger, I've only just got the BGK hes about 3 inches, I figured I had a good few months to get a bigger tank. I have a couple of BGK's before and they didn't seem to grow very fast, not on a par with oscars or fish like that. But in theory the two knifefish...

    Knifefish! I Love Knifefish!

Hello, my first time posting here, was just wondering whether adding a Clown Knifefish to my BGK tank would cause any stress to the inhabitants. I understand that the ClowN is a predator, but I was wondering whether it would be ok with some anglefish, gouramis and of course my pride and joy the...
