I thought the same thing initially but my lfs has one in the same size and it is doing fine.   When my manti starts to outgrow it, I will upgrade for sure.   There isn't going to be much else but some corals in the tank so hopefully it will be okay.  I am open to hear suggestions though if...

Hi,  I just finished cycling a few weeks ago on a little 8g saltwater tank.   I am going to be adding a mantis shrimp once I get done with some traveling.   Anyone here with experience with mantis?   Here is a pic of my tank today - http://aquarist.me/klm/a-mantis-in-moon-sand
