Hmmm, a change from the usual corys does sound like a good idea. But I think I would have to remove a few of the other fishes in order to make up for my stocking levels. I have the two peppered corys which I could take back to the store, that would leave me with 9 rummies, 4 platys, and 2 blue rams.

I've done a water change, and put the filters back in. They've been running for about a week. I think I'm going to do one more water change and then it should be safe for the snail, right?

No except for the tiny white spot above its eye, which has been there for at least three weeks now and there hasn't been any change in the betta. I'm not really sure that the white spot is ich.
