Thanks, I think I will just leave it out. My tank in 30 gallons, and the shell is a large one, but I think I'll use it in the bathroom instead.

I put a large on in I found at the beach, after I rinsed it in a colander really well. My water clouded up so I thought that may be the culpret. I removed it and did a water change and it has stayed clear. I have guppies and platy's. Thanks for the input!

Does anyone know if it would be ok to put sea shell in a fresh water tank?

The tank has been set up about a month. All the other fish are doing great. Very active, eating and looking great! I did loose her and the male.

I had them 2 days, but when I bought them the girls at the store handled them with her hands. I told her that she was not suppose to do that and she said it would be ok cause they are guaranteed.

I have a platy that her scales are sticking out she is so big. She has been like this for a few days and stays in a corner at the bottom of the tank. How much bigger can she get! Will it stress her if I put her in one of those isolation nets? Also if I do will she all the babies if she has them...

My new pleco for my new tank that is about a month old. It is a work in progress! Love it! I attempted to upload a pic I will have to work on the tank pic.
