Yeaa it does seem to look like that. Ty. I'm guessing it's safe to pull the java moss off this mat? Or I'm thinking if I should just let it grow on it until it gets bigger, then glue pieces onto whatever I want.

I bought a Java moss pad that has a sort of brown layer on the bottom. I assumed they were the roots but just learned that they don't have roots! What is this? Can I just remove it? I literally placed the entire thing as is into my QT

Got it ty. I ended up crushing it because I wanted a very controlled environment. Is it possible for that snail to have babies already that aren't visible to the naked eye? Or is it too young you think? It was REALLY tiny but that was the first I've ever seen

I got a few red cherry shrimp the other day and noticed there were two other things in with it. Someone told me it was a leech and a Malaysian trumpet snail. Some photos attached. I acclimated the shrimps in a small tank, scooped them out, and put them into my quarantine tank. I'm just worried...

Alright might not be as high as I was thinking. It's at 180 ppm GH and 40-80 ppm KH. Anyways, I guess I'll wait to see if the tetra develops any other symptoms. Thanks for your inputs! And yea I'm planning to get more soon.
