Does that chunk make bacteria? Where do bacteria come from?

i think that chunks can make good bacteria or something like that?

forget about zeabra.... that is not betta that i owned and i think there is no filtratoin in the tank since very small space. so what can that chunks actually called and what can it do? So what can that chunks for if not use with filtration for example use just one or two like in pictures?

I think it's like a rock that is for filter, white color with hole in the middle and rough.

I like zip version easy to keep in tiny place and easy to use and u can check and bend it around.
