Sounds good. And perhaps you’re right about the bristlenose plecos but they won’t outgrow the current tank for at least a year... Like I said they’re gonna go in the bigger tank once set up

I used to own a 45 gallon with goldfish and a orange betta, no problems. I’m keen on hiding places, plants, etc for a balanced and healthy ecosystem (as I view it)

He hasn’t flared up or attacked them, and to me, seems to enjoy the orange one following him. I did have small tetras in there but they nipped at his fins, he’s looking much better now. I did have to take back a blue male platy because he was nipping at him and only a couple of times did I see...

Hello guys, thanks for replying to my thread. This is a filtered 5 gallon tank. I do 2 week water changes and the plecos are dwarfs. I haven’t set up my larger tank to do more things with, especially and mostly plants. These guys will be put in there once it’s ready to go.

Thanks for replying to my thread. I typically Keep bettas on their own but depends on their aggressiveness. In my experience, each have their own personality. I’m not sure if you call it “tolerating”, but he seems fine and no one bothers each other. I’ve had an orange betta with goldfish before...

Reminds me of a turquoise rainbow fish.. they come in all colors but that’s just the name I think of when I think of these species
