Thanks for the replies all, I was thinking pearl weed too. At this scale they all look similar.

This lil trimming hitchiked in. The picture is out of focus o_O . I was hoping it would multiply but the plant has since disappeared. It had round leaves and it grew quickly.

About 30 mins from the time I cover the tank, one of my bettas goes in her floating log. She peaks out waiting for me to "tuck her in" every time.

I suppose 6 nerites and 8 bettas are a good cleanup crew. She was 100% healthy so that part will always be a mystery to me.

I too was thinking she had to be stuck in some spot. I've completely disassembled the filter and the hardscapes on the first day. She is just completely gone without a trace.

The humidity in Philadelphia is awful as well. I walked outside once and got one block before my skateboard had a layer of moisture on it. The underside was literally wet instantly.

It is crazy, I can't stop wondering what happened. Maybe one day, years later, our fish will just appear again lol.
