What plants do people recommend for tanks with Cichlids? I prefer not to have them become a meal.

The frozen food got left out by accident and defrosted. Is it still okay to use or should I toss it? It is called Cichlid Delight and contains Turkey Hearts, Brine Shrimp, Daphnia, Menhaden Fish Oil and other items.

My 20 gallon tank is in a room with good light and I have light on top of the tank as well. Plants have always done well but as of late I am seeing yellowing leaves. They are predominantly Java Ferns. Should I remove the plants that are yellowing? Anything I should do for the plants?

I ordered a standard air tubing 3/16" and it seems really tight, won't go over my Tetra Whisper air pump output. What size should be using? I tried stretching it out with a pencil but it didn't fit.

Relocated another fish that was being picked on and then the orange one started beating up yet another blue cichlid so we put put a divider in the tank so they could be in the same tank but separated. Now they fight through the barrier.

I will try for better photos. Those are actually 2 orange ones and one has a black crest top fin. It's weird but they were fine for 14 months and only started beating the other one up about a month or so ago.

What about the smaller blue striped one?
