oh i didnt realise that was why i thought i was doing mine this way so it looked a different depth :) now you mention it its a very good idea to help you keep waste at the front and being able to clean it much easier :)

My molly does this and its new to my tank making me think it can be due to stress. How long has it been alone in your tank? My molly swims in only one place atm up and down one of the side glasses its odd to watch as she never goes anywhere else :/
