I have a 10 gallon tank and plan on getting a betta by would like some tankmates.I'd specifically like fish that are compatible with the betta but also don't require a group to thrive.Also some species of schooling fish would be much appreciated!

I have 4 bloodfin tetras right now in a 10 gallon tank.And recently one of the fish has caught cotton wool disease around its mouth.I plan on buying some anti fungal medicine.But I can't afford to buy another tank to act as a quarantine.What should I do?(tank has been cycled)

So I was looking at my bloodfin tetras today and noticed some white stuff on the mouth of one of the tetras.It is starting to stray away from the school and is swimming near the bottom of the tank.What should I do?

My wife went to the LFS and bought fish food and didn't realize that it was betta food.The fish food contains BettaMin flakes,Freeze dried shrimp,and Tetrabetta mini pellets.Just wondering if I can feed my fish with the food.

Checked my water parameters and everything was fine except the alkalinity which was 40.

Ok,I'll visit my LFS tomorrow and ask them about the neons.If everything seems fine at the LFS.Should I add more fish after I've checked my water parameters.

Well the 3rd fish has now died...I believe I've found out the problem.The water parameters were fine.When I came home from work,I found my last fish stuck to the grate of my internal filter.It was stuck on there and I quickly ran to pull him off the grate.But I was too late,the fish had died.3...

Bad News.One of the 2 remaining tetras has died.Im not sure why.Checked the water parameters and everything was fine.No ammonia,no chlorine,etc.I woke up this morning to check on them and one of them was lying dead on the bottom of the tank.Now I'm worried about the last neon in my tank.Help

Yeah sorry my bad,yes it's 75 GH and 40 ppm.So what should my plan of action be next?Add more neons in a couple of days?Weeks?

The other two are behaving quite well.Swimmig quite actively.I have a couple silk plants,driftwood,and a cave.However when i get near the tank,the neons tend to hide in the plants.Which I'm pretty sure it's normal because they're adjusting to their environment.Been about a day and waiting to...

I acclimated my neons by floating for about 20 minutes.And then put the fish in a separate container with the a little bit of the LFS water.And I slowly added water from my tank into the container.I forgot to mention that I did add tetra safe start 15 min before I added the fish.Im just worried...
