I've been keeping tropical fish since 2001, I've gone from a 2ft tank through about 8 different tanks and now own a 4ft long 70 gallon tank. I've kept all kinds of fish over the years, from basic characins and cyprinids to various L Number plecs, American cichlids, oddballs, all kinds of shrimp, frogs, snails, micro species, catfish, anabantoids and at one point had about 30 male bettas in separate tanks. My favourite way to aquascape is to keep it as natural as possible, sand is my preferred substrate and anything with colour (unless it's a fish!) is banned from my tanks. I like real plants, I prefer low maintenance flora, but also like a plantless set up as well.<br />
