What sort of insulation will be best to use on the tank? Surely anything with glass fibres wouldn't be advised

No the sheds not insulated and it would be quite difficult to with the all the lighting and shelving already in there. How many hours do you think the heaters will be active. I've just done a bit of an estimate on a running cost calculator and it ain't lookin very affordable

I'm in the middle of building a plywood aquarium which I'm gonna keep in my shed, what's troubling me is heating it. The tanks gonna be about 1500 litres so I was planning on using about 3 500 watt heaters which should suffice most of the year but in the winter they will have to work very hard...

Ok so I started building the stand for my plywood tank and encountered a bit of a problem. Wood is warped. cant believe it I spent ages examining every bit before I bought it. When the stand is layed down flat one corner raises up a few inches but when someone sits on each end it all sits flat...

Oh rite. Wouldn't the spray bar resolve that problem for you. So what kind of media does it come with. On the video it doesn't look like it comes with any course foam just fine wool

Just picked up the materials for my new tank today and decided on dimensions. Total volume will be 1440 litres. So I fink it's either gonna b two of these all pond solution filters but without the UV or one fx5.what do you guys fink I shud go for?
