Hi I am using a liquid test kit - I will test again when I get in from work but yes i am confused too :S I don't know what has happen as it was doing fine the ammonia was lowering and i was adding more after 24 hours and the nitrites were present as well so I haven't a clue??

Thanks - Some good advice there, I have looked at the suggested fish and really like most of them, so am now considering a mixture of thses to go in with Oscar :) Really wanted a green Terror but may eventually get a pair for the Trigon in the future - Obviously not in with the community lol

Hi My Silver Dollar is about 10 years old, did have 2 but one died about 2 weeks ago. Pleco is about 4 years old and I have had the Oscar for about 4 months now. Then would you suggest just restocking the Trigon with more community fish?
