I tested the water yesterday the levels are Ammonia: 0.50-1.0ppm Nitrite: 0.ppm Nitrate:20ppm Ph:6.0 The fish I have are 1 angelfish 4 emporer tetras 1pleco 2 pearl gouramis 2 black skirt tetras And no live plants

There's just a lot of ammnia in my aquarium, it has been established for 2 years, I have 3 filters a penguin power 350, aqua clear 50, and a sponge filter, it's a 55 gallon aquarium that's not fully stocked.

What does seachem matrix and de nitrate really do? do they really get rid of ammonia and nitrite. What's the difference between Seachem stability, and tetra safe start, do I need these products. If I have trouble with ammonia and nitrite should I purchase these products???
