    I have baby cories!

I ordered some fry food powder this morning. There are tiny pieces of hornwort in the tank with them. I can look for some rotting leaves in my 75 and put it in the tank. They are green cories. I have some albino cories, but I saw the fish releasing the eggs and it was a green cory

    I have baby cories!

I have tried so many times to get eggs that would hatch. I have only ever managed 2 babies in all my years of having a fish tank. The other day one of my cories blew eggs all of the glass. I decided I will try again. I scraped them off the glass and put them in a bowl. Then after about a...

    What on earth is this?

I have emptied the 10 gallon, washed it out with hot water, and it is sitting on the front porch in the sun. That should take care of whatever the little critters are that were eating the eggs. I will start over with that tank.

    What on earth is this?

I guess I am going to empty this 10 gallon and clean it out and refill it with fresh water and start again. I just don't understand how these thing just materialized out of nowhere I have never seen them in the 75 gallon.

    What on earth is this?

But where did they come from? How did they get in the tank with nothing being added for them to hitch hike in on?

    What on earth is this?

A few days ago one of my cories blew eggs onto the wall of the tank. I have a 10 gallon set up for different things and so I carefully scraped them off the glass and put them in the 10 gallon. They usually don't ever hatch babies, but I keep trying. I have had a few babies over the years. So...

Thanks! That is indeed hornwort and some frogbit too, can't see that though. All the little specks you see are baby guppies LOL

Sharing a look at my 75 gallon

I thought I would share a pic of my 75 gallon after the catastrophic disaster that occured when I was away. I have been home now for a little over a week and everything is completely normal. I know it probably is not a prize winner of a tank setup but I love it anyway. BTW, the only amazon...

Will this support a 55 gallon tank?

Pretty heavy water weight will be sitting on it. I think you should screw or glue some wood supports in those areas where there are cracks. Very nice looking shelf btw

I can't figure out what happened...

Yeah that is kind of what I thought. Usually if I lose a fish, especially a guppy, because there are, or were anyway, so many of them, the other fish made short work out of it. I hardly ever saw a dead fish even with all the guppies that were in there from birth. I know I had to have fatalities...
