Thank you all! The thermometer and heater make sense, but from what I've read on the care sheet, we don't really need a filter if we clean the tank every week or so.    A 2.5 gallon tank is, I assume, for a full-grown betta. What about a BABY betta that is a little less than an inch long?   Oh...
