Thanks. And yeah i’ll check it out! The only other time my other platy gave birth, I successfully raised a 3 out of 8, which is all I saw in the tank at the time. I was just hoping for a second chance. But yeah I’ll check your channel out totally :) thank for the help

Right. got it thank you. But just one more thing; her scales are slightly spiked out, and I read somewhere this could just be because she is pregnant, or it could also be dropsy. She isn’t getting bigger at a rate which would suggest dropsy, but i’ve never dealt with it before. Any advice?

So, I have a pregnant Platy and i’ve separated her into a tank which is quite big so she can give birth. But I don’t know how long that could take, she has a swollen belly and I’m pretty sure the dark spot on either side near her anal fin. But the \__/ shape hasn’t appeared yet I don’t think...
