The tank is 24" long, 17" tall, and 18.5" deep. I was hoping to have a shoal of Chilli Rasbora, about 4 Dario Dario (1m 3f), and some bottom dwelling fish.

Sponge filters are great for bettas, but hang in the back filters with an adjustable current can have the input on one side and the outflow on the other. This helps to maintain proper filtartion on both sides. Or, you could hook up two sponge filters; one on each side of the divider.

One of my bettas with swim in a circle if asked and will jump to grab a pellet off my finger. It's very comical xD
