Will do! Thanks for the feedback, I went out and got a piece of clear plastic/perspex for the lid which I'm going to have to cut out/customize because the wood sticks out from the top.

Basically I'm setting up a new tank after about 3 years since I closed my old one. I have now a 30l Fluval Ebi. I have attached pictures of it with a piece of root i had in my old 3ft tank (i really wanted to use it). The way I have it in the tank is pretty much the only way you can fit it in...
