No I am down to about 10 shrimp in the 10 gallon. Used to have a lot more. I think the CPDs were eating all the baby shrimp, which is one reason I moved them out to see if the shrimp could recover or not. Egg yolk - I will try that and see how it does. Thanks!

Three plus months later - the skinny little fish fully recovered. It was a very slow process. I actually can't tell her apart from the other females that are of a similar size. So this story had a good outcome.

So sorry to hear this. 

The worst smell I ever had come out of a tank I would notice when doing water changes. It turned out to be an artificial ornament (large, fake driftwood) that I had added. I removed the ornament and the tank stopped smelling. Just something to consider.

I think my tank is just too crowded for the angels to feel safe enough to allow the eggs to develop. And, yes, the lights coming on makes it worse. I suppose next time they mate I could leave the light off for a couple days and see if that helps. I don't really have a gradual light option at...
