you could always divide the tank (you can go to the hardware store and pick-up an 8X10 sheet or lexan or plexi. I recommend lexan over plexiglass b/c it doesn't splinter. Infact the whole tank is made of lexan and i have never had algae b/c the tank is made of lexan). Drill some 1/8-1/4"...
